Casacuberta is a professor of science philosophy at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. His current research line is the ICT’s social and cognitive impacts. He received the Eusebi Colomer award of the Fundació Epson for the best essay about social aspects, of the new technological society with the book “Creación colectiva”. He is also the winner of the Ingenio 400 award organised by the Ministry of Culture and State Society for Cultural Commemorations for the best net.art project with the work (in collaboration with Marco Bellonzi) X-Reloaded. He is also the director of the Master’s Degree in Design and Internet Web Project Direction of ELISAVA.
